Exzakt ends 2007 with a brand new E.P. , gathering reworked cuts taken from his Alpha_Omega album as well as unreleased material. Starting the A side on a devastating bassline, eponymous cut Speaker Breaka delivers a relentless electrocore anthem based upon crunchy beats, nasty pads, wild scratch parts and top nocht industrial strings. Quite different from the original 2006 version if you listen well but much more astounding, in particular because of the succesful addition of distorted voices chanting Speaker Breaka (the track sounds as if it has been recorded live!). Definitively a future classic! Following this merciless opening, long awaited Citi Of Bass serves a timeless gem, melting groovy rhythm, heading samples (Bass... Dont Stop, Dont Stop) and female lyrics. Add to this a genius break in the middle of the cut with an old school melody and youll get an absolute dancefloor killer that is sure to please any B boy and girl. No Disco on the flip is Larrys most recent production. Combining dark sounding touches and great synth flights, the tune offers the opportunity to hear Christina Demayos beautiful singing voice in a very Miss Kittin style. At last, amazing Debonaire gives to the track an incredible new school treatment on a surprising remix dominated by insane scratches, frantic 808 and evil vocoder sequences.
